Congrats! You created your role. You have the option to share your role on other job boards. But first, time to preview your Job Description and the Candidate Application. Here’s a helpful checklist before publishing them live – use the links to:

✔︎ Get a good feel for the candidate experience before it goes live

✔︎ Easily share your Job Description and the Candidate Application with team members

✔︎ Understand how to advertise your Job Description and the Candidate Application in your preferred sourcing channel(s).

Ready? Let’s post your role and start getting candidates in

BuiltIn

BuiltIn is an online community for startups and tech companies. After creating a profile, you are able to post roles to BuiltIn.

  • Have your BuiltIn ATS integrated with Hatch? You don’t need to do anything. Candidates will be directed to Hatch as they apply via your ATS. If you would like candidates to apply directly through Hatch, rather than via your ATS see the below steps.

  • If you don’t have an ATS connected, or would like candidates to apply directly, you can do this by:

    • Once you’ve created your role in BuiltIn, navigate to ‘Manage Jobs’

    • Choose to ‘Edit’ your Job Ad

    • Scroll down to ‘How to Apply’ and add the Hatch Role URL you received when you published your Role on Hatch.

LinkedIn

  • For Recruiter and Recruiter Lite accounts, you can direct candidates to your Hatch application experience by:

    • Hovering over ‘Jobs’ at the top of the Recruiter homepage and selecting ‘Post a Job’.

    • Complete the fields provided to add your company and job details

    • When asked how you would like people to apply, select ‘Direct applicants to an external site to apply’

    • Add the Hatch Role URL you received when you published your Role on Hatch

    • Deselect ‘Let candidates apply with their LinkedIn profile and notify me by email’

  • If you would like to direct candidates to your Hatch application experience and don’t have a LinkedIn recruiter or Recruiter Lite account, you can follow the same steps as above. The only difference is where you start. At step 1, just click Jobs at the top of your LinkedIn account and select ‘Post a Free Job’.

Indeed

  • You will need to make sure your Indeed employer account is approved for third party application links. This is a one time process and can be done by contacting Indeed and requesting ‘Apply URL’ be switched on.

  • To post a job with Apply URL (after your account is enabled by Indeed):

  • Visit employers.indeed.com and sign into your account

  • Click “Post a job” in the upper right-hand corner of the page

  • Select “Apply with URL” under the “Application Settings” section

  • Insert your Hatch application link under the “Where should job seekers be sent to apply for this job?” field

  • Continue following the prompts to post your job"

AngelList

  • AngelList uses candidate profiles inside its platform to allow candidates to apply for roles. To direct these candidates to Hatch, the easiest way is to add a link to the Hatch application experience in the ‘Description’ of the job accompanied by an overview of Hatch and the steps they need to go through. It’s as simple as copy and pasting your link into the Job ‘Description’ and adding the copy

    • First, click the “Recruit” tab on the AngelList

    • Once the dashboard loads, click the “Post Job” button in the sidebar

    • Clicking the “Post Job” button will take you to the new job form, where you add the link to your Hatch application experience in the ‘Description’

    • Alongside this we recommend including the following copy

    • Complete the other details AngelList requires to post (e.g. Key Recruiting Contact) and post
