You've started seeing applications come in for your role, but you want to encourage candidates to complete their full application, so you can better understand their fit for your role and team beyond just a resume.

So, how exactly do you do this?

There are two different ways to request more information from your candidates, which you can follow in the steps below:

  1. On the review page, you’ll find three dots opposite the candidate's name

  2. Click the three dots and a drop-down menu will appear

  3. Click "request an introduction video"

  4. A pop-up email will appear for you to confirm which will be sent to the candidate

Another way you can do this:

  1. Open up the candidate's application

  2. Click on the ‘request an introduction video’ at the top of the application

  3. Confirm the 'request' email to notify the candidate

The request email that is sent to the candidate:

Hi {Candidate’s first name},

Thanks for submitting your application. I’ve had a look and our team is excited to learn more about you. I’d like to invited you to moved forward by adding an Intro Video to your application.

Thanks,

{Employers first name} from {Company}

Note - Hatch does automatically request intro video's from candidates to complete their application, but candidates who are sent an intro video request from the Hiring Manager or Talent team through Hatch are much more likely to complete their full Hatch application.
