Step 2: Click Dev Center in the left menu.

Step 3: Select API Credential Management.

Step 4: Click the Create New API Key button.

Step 5: Select Harvest for the API Type. Enter a description for the API key and click Manage Permissions.

Step 6: Click the Copy button, and paste the API key below. Next, click I have stored the API key. Please note: you will not be able to copy this API Key again, so please store it somewhere safe!

Step 7: Select your permissions.

You can select all, but at minimum permission we need are …

Step 8: Enter the API Key in the Merge Link Hatch has shared with you. Merge is a unified API provider of B2B integrations that companies use to add hundreds of integrations to their app. It allows us to provide seamless support to a wide range of ATS and improves security by taking care of authorisation and data access.

Adding a custom source

  1. Navigate to your Greenhouse settings and click Custom Options and then Sources

2. Click Create New Source

3. Enter Hatch and the name of the source, and select Third-party boards as the sourcing strategy

4. Click Create Source to save the source. Any new candidates pushed through should now be tagged as coming from Hatch.
