Receiving applications đ
When your job is open, people can submit an application. Each application shows their profile and answers to any questions youâve set. Applicants most aligned to the key criteria will surface to the top of the list.
Shortlist an application: Add a personal message when you accept someone. After accepting, the profile moves to your shortlist tab, and the job seeker will be notified.
Decline an application: You can send a custom message when declining. If you donât, Hatch will send a standard response to let them know.
You can star profiles that look interesting before moving them to the shortlist. Use the bulk-action feature to respond to a large volume of applicants at once.
Steps to take after shortlisting đ¶
Once you shortlist an application, the candidate's contact details (phone number and email) are shared with you to arrange next steps. You can also use the Hatch chat function to continue the conversation on the platform.
