Most hiring teams already have a system they use to manage candidates and jobs. Hatch connects with your applicant tracking system so your team can keep using those tools while getting access to richer candidates.
Applications flow into your ATS, jobs automatically post to Hatch, and statuses stay up to date across both, all without your recruiters needing to check another platform.
Send profiles to your ATS
Copying candidate details between systems is slow and things get lost. Hatch sends profiles to your ATS automatically, so your team can review candidates where they already work.
You choose when profiles get sent. There are two options:
Send on apply: every profile lands in your ATS the moment someone applies. Best if your team does all their reviewing in the ATS.
Send on shortlist: profiles stay in Hatch until you shortlist them, then they're sent to your ATS. Best if you want to do your initial review in Hatch and only send the strongest candidates through.
Either way, each profile sent to your ATS includes:
Resume: attached and ready to review.
Contact details: name, email, and phone number.
Screening and Application question responses: answers to your application and screening questions, formatted as a note.
A link to their Hatch profile: for videos, fit summaries, and other details that only live in Hatch.
Hatch source: so you know they've come from Hatch.
Keeping statuses in sync (coming soon)
If you send on apply, statuses stay in sync between Hatch and your ATS automatically. No extra setup needed.
Progress someone past the first stage in your ATS and they'll move to your shortlist on Hatch.
Decline someone in your ATS and they'll be marked as declined on Hatch.
Shortlist or decline someone on Hatch and their status updates in your ATS too.
When you take an action in your ATS, Hatch won't send its own notification to the candidate, so there are no duplicate messages.
Post jobs automatically (coming soon)
Manually posting jobs across platforms takes time, and things fall out of sync. Turn on automatic job posting and your public jobs appear on Hatch without any manual work. You can still import jobs manually if you prefer.
When you publish a new job on your careers site Hatch automatically detects it and puts it live on hatch
Closed or reopened jobs stay in sync: when a job is closed or reopened on your careers site, it updates on Hatch automatically.
You stay in control: you can remove any job from Hatch at any time, or turn off automatic posting entirely.
Every automatically posted job uses Hatch's apply experience, so candidates apply with their full profile so that you get richer applications.

Getting connected
Connecting your ATS takes about five minutes and requires admin permissions. If you need a hand, reach out to your Hatch contact or our support team and we'll walk you through it.
Hatch connects to your ATS through Merge, a trusted integration partner. Merge manages the connection securely, and Hatch never stores your ATS credentials directly.
