Hatch partners with Merge to support ATS integrations with a unified API key. Hatch does not store this API key as this is managed by Merge who are an official SmartRecruiters partner.
Integrating Hatch to SmartRecruiters will streamline the hiring workflow.
1. Import your jobs from your ATS: Save time when creating a job on Hatch by importing it directly from SmartRecruiters. Key information like title, job description, and location will be pre-filled automatically, so all you need to do is review and click post.
2. Shortlist and decline applications on Hatch: Candidates apply and you review and action their applications in Hatch. You stay in control of which candidates move forward.
3. Your shortlisted profiles are automatically sent to your ATS: Successful candidates will automatically get exported to SmartRecruiters. You choose which hiring stage they land in.
Exported candidates will have all their key information already populated, including their resume, name, email, and Hatch application URL.
The set up process
To set up an integration, administrator permission for SmartRecruiters is required. The integration set up is simple and Merge guides the user at each step. The Hatch team can also arrange a call to sit in and offer support during the process.
Go to Settings > Integrations in Hatch, click Connect your ATS and choose SmartRecruiters.
Click Connect and follow the prompts, including:
Log in to your ATS.
Allow Hatch to read your jobs and add candidates to your ATS.

After connecting, it can take a few hours to complete the data sync. Return to Hatch and confirm your ATS is marked as connected.
