This guide walks you through connecting your SmartRecruiters account to Hatch. See this article for an overview of how the integration works.
Before you start
You'll need administrator access to SmartRecruiters.
Create a Hatch custom source in SmartRecruiters (Settings > Custom candidate sources) to ensure candidates are correctly attributed.
The connection is managed through Merge, a trusted integration partner. Hatch never stores your Greenhouse credentials directly.
How to connect
In Hatch, go to Settings > Integrations.
Select Greenhouse from the list of available integrations.
Follow the prompts to authenticate with your SmartRecruiters credentials and grant permissions.
Wait for the initial sync to complete. This can take up to a few hours for larger accounts.
Once connected, you'll see your connection status in Settings > Integrations.
Importing jobs and sending profiles
You can import jobs from SmartRecruiters into Hatch from the job creation screen. Hatch pulls in the job title, description, and location automatically. Once you shortlist any candidates for this job, they'll automatically be sent to SmartRecrutiers.
