How we started 🦄
The Hatch story began when good friends Adam Jacobs (Co-Founder, THE ICONIC Founder) and Chaz Heitner (Co-Founder, Zip Co) came together to build something they were deeply passionate about – helping people find meaning in work.
Since then, Hatch's team has grown around a shared mission to build a 100 year company that helps millions find work they'll love.

AI-powered recommendations 🧭
Hatch’s recommendations feature, "Hatch Compass," recommends you jobs (if job seeking) or candidates (if hiring) based on core values and skills fit.
Recommendations include a "Fit summary" to help understand how a particular job or candidate may fit what you're looking for.
Job seekers get a "For you" page that provides a personalised list of top jobs that that fit them from leading employers. This saves time doom-scrolling hundreds of jobs, and also helps job seekers discover new types of work that may fit them.
Go behind the scenes 📸
Rich job pages and company profiles with authentic content from hiring teams give job seekers a behind-the-scenes view of the team and job.
Hiring manager profiles let job seekers see exactly who they’ll be working with.
Team reels give job seekers a direct look at a team's culture, values, and working style, whilst helping employers express their brand in a modern way.
Match directly 🤝
Both job seekers and employers can send match requests to each other, cutting out the middleman. When a match request is accepted they can then chat directly.
Employers can add match questions that job seekers respond to when sending a match request, saving time on screening calls and learning more about candidates.
Job seekers can answer a match question with video, helping them stand out and showcase their whole selves.
Hatch cares about reducing ghosting for everyone. Platform features help everyone stay in the loop with real-time updates on their match requests, and make it easy to provide personalised feedback when declining a request.
