Your homepage is the first page you see when you log in to Hatch. It shows you what needs your attention on your jobs, and helps you explore how students and recent graduates could help your team, tailored to the kind of talent you're looking for.
You can get back to it any time by selecting Home in the left menu.
Applications to get back to đ„
The cards at the top of your homepage show applications waiting on you. Open a card to review the applicant, then Shortlist or Decline them.
Applicants hear back faster, which keeps strong candidates interested.
Once you've actioned an application, it drops off your homepage.

Explore what students can do for you đ
The rest of your homepage helps you work out where students could take work off your plate. It's tailored to the categories you've chosen, so what you see matches your industry and the talent you're after.
What work or skills could your team use? Describe the work you need done, or pick one of the suggested job titles. This starts creating a job for you, so you can go straight from an idea to a draft. Creating and posting a job covers the rest of the steps.
Explore what students can do for you. Each card is a category, like Design or Engineering, with the number of students on Hatch in that area. Open one to see:

suggested skills students in that area bring
top students in that category, with their profiles

Choose the talent you're looking for â
When you first log in, we'll ask What kind of talent are you looking for? Pick the categories you're hiring for, then select Done. We'll use them to tailor the case studies, suggested job titles and student profiles on your homepage.
You can change them any time:
On your homepage, select Edit next to your categories, or Add an area to explore under Where else is your team stretched?
Search for a category, or pick from Suggested based on your profile.
Select + to add a category or Ă to remove one.
Select Done.
FAQs
Why don't I see any application cards?
You're all caught up. Cards only appear when an application is waiting for you to shortlist or decline.
Do my categories change who can apply to my jobs?
No. Categories only change what you see on your homepage. Who can apply depends on the job itself, like its type and criteria.
Is the homepage different on each plan?
No. Every company sees the same homepage, whatever plan you're on.
Will my teammates see the same categories as me?
No. Categories are set for each person, so everyone on your team can tailor their homepage to the talent they're hiring for. Changing yours won't change anyone else's.
