Yes, as long as the graduate still has access to their university email for verification, and the placement is a contract role.
Can I turn a job into a student job after posting?
No, a job's type is set when it's created, so you'll need to post a new Hatch Students role if you want to switch.
Can I adjust the contract details?
Yes, you can adjust the placement end date and pay rate in your Hatch Placements dashboard.
Does Hatch or I choose how much the applicant gets paid?
You can choose the applicant's pay rate, as long as it's at or above the base rate of $33.71 (excl. super) an hour. For the $33.71 pay rate, you'll be invoiced $47.14 (excl. GST) an hour to cover on-costs and admin. See our full billing breakdown here.
Do I have to pay to convert a placement to full-time?
No, converting a student into a permanent or graduate role is free.
How does Hatch pricing work?
Pricing has two parts: a platform fee for your plan (free on Free, $639 a month on Plus, custom on Enterprise), plus $47.14 an hour for the Hatch Students you hire.
What can I do on the free plan?
On the Free plan, you can hire up to 2 Hatch Students a year, post unlimited permanent jobs, and use skills-based matching, fit summaries, and AI assessments.
What counts as a hire?
A hire is any Hatch Student you make an offer to and bring on. Your plan sets how many you can make each year: 2 on Free, 10 on Plus, and unlimited on Enterprise.
Can I post permanent jobs too?
Yes, every plan includes unlimited permanent job posts at no extra cost, and on Plus and Enterprise you can bring them in through your ATS.
What happens when I reach my hire limit?
Beyond your plan's limit, additional hires are $1,900 each, or you can move up to a plan that better fits your needs.
What's the difference between Plus and Enterprise?
Plus suits growing businesses hiring up to 10 students a year with standard ATS integrations, while Enterprise adds unlimited hires, custom ATS integrations, and a dedicated customer success contact.
Can I connect my ATS?
Yes, on Plus and Enterprise you can connect your ATS to import your jobs into Hatch and send matched profiles straight back.
How am I billed?
Plans are billed annually, and we invoice you directly rather than charging a card.
