Profiles will play an even bigger role on Hatch moving forward. As we roll out a significant platform update in the coming weeks, your profile will be able to be viewed by other people on Hatch. This will ultimately allow you to connect with others in the community, much like your Linkedin profile.
You’ll have full control over your profile settings (see below) and can toggle between them once the update is live.
At Hatch, your privacy matters. Your profile link is always accessible and you can always apply to jobs, but you control who sees what.
If you are subscribed to Hatch emails, your profile will be set to “Only people logged in to Hatch” by default. This will allow people to discover you.
If you are unsubscribed to Hatch emails, your profile will be set to "Only me", by default. You will need to change your profile setting if you want to be discovered by people on Hatch.
Your contact information will always remain private, regardless of your chosen setting, unless you choose to apply for a job at which point it can be shared with the employer.
If you would like to change your profile visibility setting, please do so here:
If you don’t want a profile, you can let us know through the same form above. We’ll be sad to see you go but we understand and respect your privacy and decision. Without a profile you won’t be able to use Hatch.
