Overview
Student jobs are all over Hatch. Here's how to find the right ones and make your application impossible to ignore.
Find your next student job đ
You'll spot student jobs in a few places:
For you: only the jobs that suit your preferences
Explore: set the Student jobs filter to Yes
Hatch Students: your dedicated landing page that you can find in your sidebar
Found "the one"? Go for it đŻ
Once a job feels like a great fit, hit Apply! Youâll be prompted to verify your account if you havenât already.
Check the requirements: This is especially important for remote jobs because they always have location restrictions.
Check your Fit summary: Not everything "Strong"? No stress! Some requirements get sorted out during the application itself.
Get to know the team: Explore the content at the bottom of the job page to get a sense of life at the company.
Be honest, be you đ
When you're answering questions, just be honest and human, no need to overthink it.
Pro tip: don't skip the Tips on each question. They're built with our employer partners and give you a great sense of what to cover.
Employers check out your profile before they even open your resume. It's your chance to shine! So add a video, show off a project you're proud of, and let your personality come through.
Save your answers, save your time âąď¸
Choose to save your answers to your profile and you'll:
Reuse them across every application, no retyping
Show them on your profile (see your profile visibility), so employers see even more of what makes you, you
Pro tip: don't want your answer visible on your profile? Skip "save to profile". You'll still get it pre-filled next time you apply elsewhere, it just won't show up publicly.
